Born in Tupelo, MS, Ms. Smith has traveled the world, experiencing business and leadership success, however, she’s never forgotten her familial roots or the people of Mississippi. Ms. Smith is a trusted advisor and partner with local, state, and business leaders in the region. She has been honored in print and television media with the Key To The City of Tupelo from Mayor Jason Sheldon and Councilwoman Nettie Davis, donating her book to the Oren Dunn Museum as a part of their historial Black American Residents exhibt for posterity, and in the Tupelo Tour and Book Signing for her acclaimed book, The Roar Of A Woman. Ms. Smith featured highly successful signings at the historic Gum Tree Book Store and the Barnes and Nobles Book Store in partnership with Starbucks™.
Most recently, Ms. Smith launched The Foundation. Created by Ms. Smith, The Foundation is an economic development and affordable housing initiative, bringing entrepreneurship opportunities, energy efficiency options in housing, and homeownership to the forefront in developing sustainable, and vibrant residential communities. Her initiative is a 10-year manifesto supporting and building housing and communities in Tupelo, Aberdeen, Columbus, and Jackson, MS.




































Ms. Mogul®: Building Business and Cultural Bridges from The Diaspora to Ghana, West Afria.
Ms. Smith had the honor and responsibility of traveling to Ghana, West Africa as an economic developer, economic researcher, and business developer by invitation of Oklepeme Nuer Anorbaah Sasaraku II, Konor (King) of the Yilo Krobo State of Ghana.
Her mission was the purpose of discovering viability of new or transference of business development, particularly in the area of real estate.
While on the ground, the mission expanded to focus on entrepreneurial ventures, women in business, and partnerships with educational institutions of higher learning, ministers in government, and local business owners to facilitate a more comprehensive foundation and ecosystem for business health and growth for those re-locating to the Yilo Krobo Tribes.
